Naples Reserve in Naples FL is a gated 1,100 home community with clubhouse & resort style pool. Their clubhouse kitchen has residential appliances and can only accommodate smaller private functions. Residents soon discovered that community events would need significantly more refrigeration space to better handle the larger demands for volume, speed, variety and quality of service. A prominent local caterer suggested they speak with CurranTaylor.
The most important 1st step was to provide enough refrigeration to support functions up to 250 poolside. With ZERO room inside for a walk-in refrigerator, we chose the best exterior site and began by clearing out existing vegetation, all irrigation lines, all electrical lines, then leveled the area for a new reinforced concrete pad. We ran required utilities from the adjacent building under the paver walkway to the new pad. We designed and constructed the new walk-in cooler with an aesthetically appropriate designer exterior complete with diamond tread reinforced panels, security hardware, rain hood, all certified to Hurricane code. The remote refrigeration package was located behind the cooler away from patrons, all piping run, charged, balanced, started up and made nice and clean. Our Design-Build package included stamped engineered drawings.
